NFL Redesign Project NFC

GraphicIvy

Over the last 2 years I have been attempting to redesign NFL team logos. This is an ongoing project I have been working on, on and off in my free time.

NFC SOUTH

NEW ORLEANS SAINTSThis logo was created based on three main elements. The Fleur de lis, football, and a crescent.

CAROLINA PANTHERS

This logo was essentially the Carolina Panthers current logo just faced front. For the most part, this logo design was pretty straight forward.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Coming soon

ATLANTA FALCONS

I came up with four designs. The Idea was to incorporate the old original logo with a new twist. In essence an "A" and an "F". I could not choose the design I liked best, so I am showcasing all four. Maybe you can choose which design you prefer best.

NFC NORTH

CHICAGO BEARSComing Soon

MINNISODA VIKINGS

This logo's main focus was the beard. Traditionally vikings are always portrayed with a lot of facial hair. My design was intended to play on the traditional viking "looK" all while giving the logo a slight modern update. Heavy sharp lines and simplicity.

GREEN BAY PACKERS

This logo is still a work in progress. The idea when designing this logo was to play with shapes. I wanted to give it a slightly different look to differentiate itself from the Grambling State University and Georgia Bulldogs logos. The logos are iconic in their own rights, however, as a redesign I will continue to play around with he shapes to see what I like best. Expect this design to be modified in the future.

DETROIT LIONS

Coming Soon

NFC WEST

LOS ANGELES RAMS

This logo was more of an update rather than a redesign. Most of the elements on the original logo were used. I made the the lines under the chin more aggressive, made the eye angrier, and give it angrier teeth. The biggest change as seen was incorporating the horn into the "LA" lettering giving the overall logo a complete look rather than just the mascot head.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

I really enjoyed creating this logo. The idea was to give it a fresh update all while keeping the current concept of the top and bottom alternating colors theme . I could still go in many different directions with this logo, but here are three designs I enjoyed the most.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Over the years this logo has been the same and has been pretty iconic when it comes to the NFL period. When reading the history of the team, the owner seemed to be pretty set on keeping the same logo. So to go along with it, I decided to keep the "SF" just make into a football shape on the outside. As for the second design, I wanted to use it as an alternate design based concept. All while keeping the "feel" of the 49ers' original logo. All in all this wouldn't be a redesign blog if I didn't make modifications to the logo!

ARIZONA CARDINALS

Coming Soon

NFC EAST

NEW YORK GIANTS

Three logos with the the idea of extreme simplicity. The the focus of these designs are to use CAPS in the logo to play up on "Giants" being large and bold. NYC is a large city so the logo should reflect.

WASHINGTON REDSKINS

Having lived in the DMV area for over 9 years, the name of this team always comes up for debate. I have gained a fan base perspective, I have also gained a society based perspective as well. I am not sure how I will face the actual design composition, but there will be two designs I will showcase.

DALLAS COWBOYS

Coming Soon

PHILADELPHIA EAGLESIf I could change their name to the Philadelphia Cheese Steaks football team I would. This by no means is a shot taken at the team, but respect to the fact that if you EVER visit Philly, MAKE SURE you try a Cheese stake! Design coming soon.
